The University of Maryland Extension Office presents Pollinators Love Herbs from 10 a.m. to noon June 10 at the UME Extension Office, 330 Montevue Lane, Frederick. Many herb flowers supply pollen & nectar to nourish bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Plant and decorate your own mini-garden. Materials will be provided but bring your gardening gloves. See how to grow vegetables, herbs, small fruits and decorative plants in a variety of containers in the Container Gardening session 10 a.m. to noon June 24 at the University of Maryland Extension Office, 330 Montevue Lane, Frederick. Learn how to select the proper plants for different size containers, to group plants by their needs and to elevate containers to provide easy access without stooping and bending. Free.
